AT&T Wants to GIVE You ESPN in 3D!

Let’s see… what else can we add to our generation of electronic cars, digital books, and personal pocket sized assistants, previously known as cell phones? How about TV in 3D? Well… AT&T U-verse TV service beats everyone to the punch once again by offering the biggest sports channel, ESPN in 3D to AT&T U-verse supported TVs for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Billions of fans will be able to watch the game as if they were in South Africa with their favorite teams. PR Newswire delivered the news that “ESPN is the first 3D sports network that will air 25 2010 FIFA World Cup matches and about 100 live sporting events in the next year.”

What do you say to that?

Once ESPN gets their start with the 2010 FIFA World Cup on June 11th, the rest of their sporting events will be shown in 3D including “the 2010 State Farm Home Run Derby, X Games 16, Winter X Games, college basketball and football games and the 2011 BCS National Championship Game” (PR Newswire). Television is about to take a turn towards the new world of entertainment because in addition to 3D TV, AT&T U-verse TV is offering fans and AT&T customers a total home DVR, allowing you to record up to four shows at once if you’re not home in time to catch the game. BUT the bonus for AT&T customers is an app including a Multiview allowing you to watch up to four ESPN channels at one time, giving you players’ stats, bios, and groupings, for NO EXTRA CHARGE! Come on, how can you beat that? Even on the go you’ll be able to receive updates about the game since AT&T and ESPN are delivering live coverage to phones that carry AT&T Mobile TV and MobiTV.

You have a couple days to get the full experience of FIFA through AT&T U-verse connections and products. Let’s get this 3D celebration started!
